Dear Experts, I recently had a Genie system put in. In the bedroom, with one of the old non-HD receiver units, I used to be able to run a coaxial cable back out to an older cable tv outlet, and allow a mirroring of that TV receiver to another tv (in my garage, used sparingly, so I don't want to have to pay for an extra box for that little use. Now, I can't do that. Someone suggested a 'Dual RF Modulator' box.
From the RF modulator, connect this unit to your TV by using a coaxial cable. It will be from the VIDEO OUT on the RF modulator to the VIDEO IN or CABLE or ANTENNA IN port on your television. This should be all you need to get started watching your digital television. In simple terms here is what you did: Coaxial from wall to cable box Cable box to VCR VCR to RF modulator DVD player to RF Modulator RF modulator to TV You will only be able to record what is on channel.

Right now, the TV (very old SD) is hooked directly up to the Genie via a 1-to-3 RCA cable that goes into the TV. Can someone tell me exactly (and I mean exactly, because I'm clueless) what I would need to re-instigate my mirroring system, and how to do it? (My tv only works with RCA input, not with Coax in.) For my application, that is better. Sad it was required but the Wally doesn't support COAX connection to the TV system which is so common in RVs.
