Thanks FYI: my intention is to play video games, nes, n64, ps2, etc on my computer. I have virtually the exact same problem. I'm using the same Kworld, with Windows 7, and the device name is too 'USB 2860 Device'.

I'll tell you what I did, as well as sharing what problems I have. From what I gather, this Kworld is only compatible with CyberLink PowerDirector (I have version 10), and it is there where the video from my PS2 is sent. This program was installed with a CD I got along with purchasing Kworld at my local TigerDirect. You may have to fiddle with the settings on the bottom right under the 'Capture tab' (under Profile.

I have MPEG-2 and DVD HQ; under Settings, make sure you have the right Capture Source ie. Video Composite, and under TV Setup - Format (non-tuner) should be NTSCM try other options, but I found myself without color or any video at all if I messed around too much). The actual icon that you pick to see what is coming from the game system is the third one from the left (out of 8 total). Make sure the USB is plugged into your PC, along with the audio jack (which goes into the microphone jack, not the headphone jack). Be careful with when/how often you change plugs and switch between icons because I found sometimes the sound just cuts off. Make sure the RCA (red, yellow, white) cables from your system (should have male ends) are connected to the Kworld RCA ports (female ends).

I haven't played with S-Video enough, but I would guess it's either that option or the Yellow cable, you can't use both I think. After you get the video and sound going, you can record it. You may have to alter which sounds volumes are active on your computer, to minimize interference (for example, you don't wan't to record your voice with the PC mic since it will again hear the game volume plus any surrounding sounds, causing an unpleasant echo). After stopping the recording, the video is saved, and you can edit it as you see fit.

Put it to fullscreen, export it to another player, whatever. I would like to know: - how to have the recording window in fullscreen/adjustable window mode, although I've read it's impossible. how can I play the video and sound on my TV, while also having it recorded on PowerDirector, instead of forcing me to look at the small window in the PowerDirector program; some sort of splitter?
